2002

Billiards is a team event with each team consisting of two players. It is an eight ball single-elimination tournament. Each round of the tournament consisted of a best of three match with the first team to win two games advancing to the next round and the loser being eliminated. In this tournament, the players on each team alternate turns throughout play.

The tournament is governed by the rules of the Eight Ball League played at Snookers as modified to meet the team play of this tournament.
