Cuppy's Cafe only entered one event in this year's
Corporate Cup competition, but they made it their own as they
entered two teams in the Horseshoes Tournament and proceeded to
finish first and second in the 19 team field. Pete Washenko and
Steve Sardo swept through the field, but had to go to the third game
in the best-of-three final against Roy Martin and Chuck Graham.
Cuppy's #2 won the first game 21-12, but #1 bounced back to win game
two by a 21-17 score and then took the rubber game by a 21-17 score.
Gordon Rubber and Spectrum Plastics #2 finished in a
tie for third.
