Health Net Gives Harvest House III a Big Start!

The boxes at Health Net spell it our clearly - Harvest House III is all about food!

Harvest House III got a great start Friday afternoon as the employees at Health Net in Shelton collected enormous amounts of food - and made a fun competition out of the collection. Different employee groups competed against each other to see which group could collect the most - and C2 came out on top!

The winning C2 team with Pat Tarasovic, Director of the Volunteer Center.

Scott Weiner, Regional Finance Officer of Health Net of the Northeast greeted the employees in the atrium of the Shelton facility and thanked the employees for their generous support of the project and the community.

His words were echoed by Pat Tarasovic who is coordinating the entire Harvest House project who was on hand. United Way President & C.O.O. Jack Walsh had the privilege of not only thank the employees, but also presenting the award to the winning C2 team.

This is the third time that United Way and its Corporate Volunteer Council has undertaken this ambitious project - and it is the third time in a row that Health Net has ensured the success of the event with their commitment to the community. Thank you Health Net!
