Energizer's Campaign is Valley United Way's Biggest This Year!

ENERGIZER’S ELVES LEAD THE WAY
Santa Claus and Energizer Personal Care have brought Valley United Way a wonderful present this year! Energizer recently completed its campaign with more than a 30% increase over last year’s donations! From opening their campaign with coffee and donuts back on November 2nd, to Bluefish game proceeds, to raffles offering prime parking spaces, vacation days, airline tickets, electronics and restaurant and retail store gift certificates, to Friday “Jean Days”, to culminating with a huge and successful Chinese auction! In addition, Energizer Corporate has supported the campaign by matching all campaign dollars as well as all Chinese auction dollars!!
Our sincere thanks go to Energizer’s campaign team. Their time, effort and dedication have contributed to making the 2010 campaign a huge success. The campaign team includes: Jean Axtell, Steven Charles, Tara Heyel, Jessica Mitchell, Paul Pacileo, Brenda Hazell, Jenifer Debouver, Sheryl Gomolak, Christine Craw, Lisa Cook, Natalie Mallone, Patrick Kane and Anthony Pietrini. They were instrumental in generating excitement throughout the building during the entire campaign.

EPCares! On Friday, August 27th, Energizer Personal Care sponsored a night at the Bluefish for their colleagues and guests. EPC purchased a group of tickets for the Bluefish game and made them available to their colleagues and guests at a discount. All proceeds were donated to both the Valley United Way and the United Way of Milford.
And that's just the start! Energizer annually runs one of the most creative United Way campaigns, and the committee pictured below is already hard at work planning for their November activities. We'll have more later!
