Youth Leaders Creating Festive Holiday Mood

Youth Leadership students had a great time in the lobby of Scinto Tower One as they happily sang to the hundreds of children who were anxiously waiting to visit with Santa and tell him what was on their Christmas list! They loved ringing their bells and wearing their special Santa and Elf hats.

Chocolaty hot chocolate and trays of beautifully decorated Christmas cookies helped to make the visit like a visit to Santa’s Village. The event was an opportunity for parents to spend time with their children without the hustle and bustle of shopping or malls and needing to spend money and it was free to all who attended.

This very special event was hosted by Bob Scinto, for the 5th year! Thank you Bob! And thank you to Katie Scinto for everything you did to manage this special event and make the Youth Leaders feel so great about sharing in the fun! This was the third year the Youth Leaders were invited to Volunteer…and they once again loved it! They have been invited back to perform next year and the students are already planning dance steps with songs for next year! And maybe a musical reading or two.

The Youth Leaders loved participating and look forward to next year!

The Youth Leadership Program is made possible through the generous support of the Raymond P. Lavietes Foundation which provides core funding.
